Code of the Trade
Every detective works to a code, and the agency's is short. It covers the clients and it covers you.
The clients
- Each client is a made-up adult aged 22 to 55, living a trade and a life fit for an adult. Not one is drawn as younger than her slip claims.
- No client is kin to you. Each scene is consensual, and no client is based on an actual woman.
- What a client refuses on her slip she refuses in the chat.
The detective
- You must be 18 or over.
- Anything that sexualises a minor, or hands an adult the traits of one, ends on the spot and may cost the account its place. No exceptions.
- Force, real people's private lives and cruelty for its own sake are stopped, however the scene is dressed.
- If you write that you mean to hurt yourself, the scene stops and she points you to real help. Please take it.
The case
A case goes dark before anything explicit; that is the house limit. The coroner, the pharmacist and the lawyer are characters, and none of them gives true medical, legal or financial advice. For that, see a licensed person in the world outside.
If it goes wrong
Send word to the desk, whose address sits in the footer. Each message is read, and a license that ignores this code can be pulled.
